The Royals recently acquired outfielder Edward Olivares from Triple-A Omaha in a trade involving Trevor Rosenthal. Olivares spent most of September 2020 in Kansas City. The former Toronto Blue Jays prospect had an OPS of 1.122, five home runs, six stolen bases, and nearly as many walks as strikeouts. Olivares has shown a high degree of versatility and could be a quick callup in the future.
