The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired a hard-throwing left-handed reliever in Samuel Coonrod. The Phillies bullpen has lacked power arms in recent years. And coming off of one of the worst seasons in baseball history, Coonrod may just be the cure for their ailing bullpen. However, Coonrod’s name may not be one that will make a splash. The right-hander missed all of the 2020 season because of a pandemic, so he will likely be limited to spring training or even the minors.
