The Yankees selected Michael King in the 12th Round of the 2016 draft out of Boston College. He spent the entire season at Low-A Greensboro in the South Atlantic League, where he was 11-9 with a 3.41 ERA. In 149 innings of work, King struck out 106 batters. He made three starts in 2017 with 10 or more hits. King also has a tendency to allow a lot of runners to reach base. He walked 31 times while at Boston College.
