With the upcoming addition of Casey Mize, Tarik Skubal, and Matt Manning, the Tigers are in need of a starting pitcher. However, Turnbull’s 4.1 ERA is far from a fluke. He had to throw 97 pitches to get through the game and struggled with command and walks. Whether or not he can improve the Tigers in the future will remain to be seen.
