Scott Oberg

After dealing with blood clotting issues and shoulder surgery last year, Rockies reliever Scott Oberg will undergo surgery on Monday to remove blood clots in his right elbow. While the procedure is relatively minor, the right-handed reliever could return to his high-leverage role in the bullpen. Initially, doctors and Rockies trainers will monitor his progress and make sure his blood flow remains normal. However, a full recovery could take months.
