The Rockies signed third baseman C.J. Cron to a two-year extension worth $14.5 million. This deal gives Cron time to develop before he becomes a free agent in 2022. Jeff Bridich signed Cron after the regular season and will now get a little more time to develop. The deal will keep the Rockies in the Cron Zone through 2022. Colorado still needs to work on their team, but this deal sets them on the right foot.
