The Dominican baseball player Bryan de la Cruz makes his MLB debut for the Miami Marlins in 2021. He has been a top prospect in the Major League Baseball for several years and was the first Dominican-born player to play for the big leagues. The Marlins selected De La Cruz in the draft in 2015.

When the Marlins made the trade to acquire Stallings, the team upgraded its catching situation from dire to better. He was ranked eight on MLB Network’s Top 10 Right Now list.
