The Boston Red Sox signed pitcher Ryan Brasier to a minor league contract on March 4, 2018. He pitched for Pawtucket in the Triple-A International League and was selected for the Triple-A All-Star Game. He was then promoted to the major leagues on July 8. Brasier made his major league debut against the Texas Rangers on July 9, finishing with a 1-0 record. However, a Covid-19 infection ended Brasier’s season.
