The Oakland Athletics drafted Chad Pinder in the second round of the 2013 MLB draft. The young outfielder made his professional debut with the Vermont Lake Monsters in 2013. He later played for the Stockton Ports and Midland RockHounds. Pinder won the Texas League Player of the Year award in 2015.
