The Washington Nationals have recalled Andrs Machado from Triple-A Rochester. The team also placed Josh Rogers on the 15-day injured list with a left shoulder impingement. The team is likely to start Andrs Machado in the bullpen game Thursday. Machado has yet to pitch more than two innings in a big league start. However, he did provide scoreless relief in five of his previous outings.
