Lourdes Gurriel Jr. has two years left on a $22 million contract. Though his start to the season has not been great, the right-handed hitter has been in the majors for three seasons. Despite a slow start this season, the Blue Jays have not given up on him. Nevertheless, they have decided to assign him to their Triple-A affiliate, the Buffalo Bisons, as an outfielder.
