The pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, Adam Wainwright, has been nominated for the 2020 Roberto Clemente Award, Major League Baseball’s highest honor for philanthropy. On Sept. 10, 2018, the Cardinals honored Wainwright and his family for their efforts in water missions in Haiti. Adam and his wife, Jenny, have inspired teammates to donate to their project and to do the same.
