After a 12-day stay in a Marriot hotel room, Falter lost weight, strength, and stamina and was demoted to the bullpen. His 4.91 ERA and 6.61 FIP led the Phillies to place him in the bullpen. Despite his poor performance in the early part of his career, Falter is a potential long-term option in the team’s bullpen.
