While it may be early to start evaluating Severino’s potential, he has been pitching well of late. His last start came against the Twins on Sept. 20 and he surrendered only one earned run in four innings. Severino also struck out three and walked one batter in that outing. It’s hard to say whether Severino is an ace, but he’s shown that stuff when healthy.
