The Mets recently called up former minor leaguer Trevor Williams. While he is not a great prospect, he is worth a look as depth. Despite his low ERA, Williams is a solid 8th starter. Among his positive traits are his high-effort, low-friction approach and excellent command of the strike zone. Williams will pitch again on three days rest, which makes him an excellent option to keep in the rotation.
