Jacob DeGrom

The New York Mets are reportedly evaluating Jacob deGrom, who was scheduled to pitch on Opening Day of the season. The right-hander has been sidelined since he suffered a stress reaction in his right shoulder. A second MRI revealed that he had suffered a partial tear/sprain in the same shoulder, and he hasn’t pitched in over six weeks. DeGrom is expected to return to the mound on June 6.
