Miguel Sano

After signing a contract with the Minnesota Twins two months ago, Miguel Sano is finally a Twin. The Dominican native had to first get his work visa approved from the U.S. Consulate in the Dominican Republic before the deal could be finalized. The deal included a $3.15 million signing bonus, the largest international bonus of the summer, and the highest for a Latin American positional prospect. It also made him the second highest paid player from the Dominican Republic, behind Michael Ynoa, who signed a $4.25 million contract with Oakland last year.
