Emilio Pagn

The Minnesota Twins recently traded pitcher Emilio Paddack to the San Diego Padres for a third-round pick. Paddack has played for the Twins since 2011 and is a first-round pick of the team. The 31-year-old’s contract is worth $2.25 million this year and he has two more arbitration years before becoming a free agent. Pagn was 20-19 with a 4.21 ERA in 61 games last season with the San Diego Padres. He struck out twenty-five batters and walked 20 times in 22.1 innings. His last start came on May 8, but he was forced to leave with elbow inflammation after only two innings. Despite this, Pagn’s final start was against the Oakland A’s.
