After a strong spring training, the Richard Bleier Miami Marlins were boosted by a number of offseason moves. First, Bleier was brought in from outside the organization to fill the vacancy created by the recent COVID-19 outbreak. In August, Bleier was one of 16 players added to the Marlins’ big league roster. But, a week later, all 18 Marlins tested positive for COVID-19, and Bleier is the only one player on the team still with the team two years later.
