With the help of a recent trade, the Cal Quantrill Cleveland Guardians acquired shortstop Oscar Gonzalez from Triple-A Columbus. Gonzalez has hit safely in all four games since his MLB debut and had two RBIs in tonight’s game. His strong performance on offense was complemented by solid defensive play. He threw an excellent ball to Austin Hedges, who made a diving catch to end a threat to score.
