Adam Dunn was traded to the Reds in March and was expected to compete for a rotation spot. But the right shoulder strain that kept him out of the game in 2021 will cost him a start this season. With Mike Minor and Luis Castillo on the 10-day disabled list, Justin Dunn will have to start the season in the bullpen. Vladimir Gutierrez and Reiver Sanmartin will join the rotation in the coming weeks.
