After being on the disabled list for three consecutive years, Michael Wacha made a strong showing for the Red Sox in 2015. The right-hander won seven of his nine starts, posting a 1.87 ERA. He also became the first Cardinal since 2005 to start seven games without allowing a run. On August 30, Wacha was named to his first All-Star Game. He pitched in Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park, where he went 15-4 with a 2.69 earned-run average and 1.12 walks per inning.
