The Atlanta Braves have been a disappointment through the first month of the season, but right-hander Kenley Jansen has been a bright spot. Despite pitching against former teammates Will Smith, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman, Jansen has converted all eight of his save opportunities. His 7.5 strikeout-to-walk ratio is the best it’s been since he made his big-league debut in 2017. In fact, his 7.5 strikeout-to-walk ratio was the best he’s had since 2017, and he finished fifth in the voting for the National League Cy Young Award.
