Despite being a free agent, Guillermo Heredia still looks like a long shot to make the Braves’ roster in 2021. However, Heredia has proven to be one of the most valuable players during Atlanta’s recent run to the World Series. He has filled in for the injured Nick Markakis early in the season, while helping the team fill a critical outfield hole. While Heredia’s contributions have been limited to a few extra-base hits, they are still a positive for a team that needs a center fielder.
