The Diamondbacks have selected the contract of Jake Hager from Triple-A Reno, where he has spent the last two years. Hager, a native of Las Vegas, has played in five organizations, including two stints with the Milwaukee Brewers. He played at the college level in Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina, Colorado, Mississippi, Washington state, and Tennessee. Before joining the Diamondbacks, Hager was a top prospect in the Milwaukee Brewers’ farm system.
